Blurt

Terms

Updated October 17, 2026 · Team Nebula · Blurt for Mac

These are the short terms for using Blurt. By installing or using Blurt you agree to them. The privacy page explains what data goes where.

Beta software

Blurt is in an invite-only beta. Features can change or break, and we may stop offering a feature. Keep your own copy of anything important you dictate or write.

Your content stays yours

What you dictate, write and record belongs to you. Blurt does not sell your data or use it for advertising. When you choose a cloud provider, that provider receives the content needed for the feature under its own terms.

Anonymous usage data is on by default

Blurt shares anonymous usage data to improve the app. It is on by default, and you can turn it off any time in Settings › Privacy & storage › Share anonymous usage data. Turning it off stops sending at once and deletes anything not yet sent.

The full list is on the privacy page and in the app under Settings › Privacy & storage › “See what's sent”.

Your responsibilities

Use Blurt lawfully. Get consent before recording other people where the law requires it, for example in meetings. Keep your provider keys safe; you are responsible for usage billed to them.

Licence and no warranty

The Blurt app is MIT-licensed. It is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, and Team Nebula is not liable for damages arising from its use, to the extent the law allows.
